Rosie O’Donnell rants that Trump-era ICE facilities are concentration camps where inmates are raped

Actress Rosie O’Donnell compared ICE facilities to concentration camps in Nazi Germany in a video she posted on TikTok Friday.

In a TikTok titled, "Friday Ramble," O'Donnell discussed a variety of topics, including the recent death of country music legend Dolly Parton, before launching into criticism of the Trump administration.

"We all vowed ‘Never Again,’ remember?" she said in the TikTok video, referencing the Holocaust. She noted that people even today are shocked at how Germans allowed fascism to take over before claiming fascism is in full swing in the United States.

"We’re making concentration camps. … We’re rounding up people without a warrant. We’re raping children in detention, in ICE detention. They’re all getting pregnant," she said. "And they’re separated, males and females. Who has access to those girls? What happens to their babies? What do they do with them? There are big questions."

The fierce anti-Trump critic then launched into an attack on the president, saying his supporters were in denial. 

"He doesn't care about you one bit. This is not a president for all people. This is a president for people like him," she said of Trump in the same video. "White powerful men, where women are disregarded in that equation usually. It’s the White men, it’s patriarchy running the world and it’s deadly.

"We need people like Dolly Parton to run the world," she suggested. "People with a heart."

O'Donnell has a long history of condemning Trump and his administration.

In July 2025, she made similar comparisons between ICE and Nazi Germany, saying, "I think Americans should stand up and say, ‘No way. You’re not going to silence us. You don’t have the right to silence us. You never did. And you never will. We, the people, have the right to speak up against atrocities which are happening on a daily basis.’ ICE, his own personal Gestapo — what will it take, America? What will it take?" she asked.

"He’s gonna arrest every artist that disagrees with him, and pretty much every artist does. Whether or not they’re brave enough to say it is another thing."

White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis called O'Donnell's comments "gross" in a statement to Fox News Digital, providing a list of arrests made by ICE yesterday of illegal aliens accused of violent crimes like strangulation, battery and child molestation.

"This is gross. These types of comparisons of ICE to Nazis are contributing to our brave law enforcement officers facing a more than 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats. Would Rosie O’Donnell want these thugs for neighbors?" Bis asked.

O'Donnell recently wrapped up guest-hosting fellow Trump critic Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show, where she called Trump, "orange Voldemort."

Media analyst and Fox News contributor Joe Concha said O'Donnell's rants are evidence of "severe Trump Derangement Syndrome."

"It shows that there is a disturbing segment of the population who are no different from Rosie: STDS sufferers… Severe. Trump. Derangement. Syndrome," Concha told Fox News Digital. "And their lives revolve around hating the president. So there is an audience for this stuff, albeit a deranged audience.  It just shows you how much Kimmel is suffering from STDS by selecting a deranged Rosie to host in his place. Why not get Sebastian Maniscalco? Dave Chappelle? People who actually make people laugh?  She was chosen not because she’s a good comic or host, but because she would try to stick it to Trump. And it was as cringe-worthy and sad as it gets."
