PAPUA - Amid the peaceful highlands of Papua, Task Force Yonif 400/Banteng Raiders, Pos Dal, continues to redefine its role beyond traditional military operations. On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the unit conducted a community outreach program that served not only as a platform for dialogue but also as a concrete step to build trust, promote unity, and address local needs.
Led directly by Danpos Dal, the outreach event brought Task Force members face-to-face with residents from surrounding villages. The engagement featured open discussions on regional security, social conditions, and actionable concerns—ranging from environmental issues to local development aspirations.
"Our mission is not limited to safeguarding borders. It's about being present, being involved, and being responsive to the realities people face here. Listening is the first step toward meaningful solutions, " said Danpos Dal during the session.
The gathering was met with warmth and enthusiasm from the community. Villagers, including elders and youth, participated actively, sharing stories and suggestions. In return, Task Force members offered light educational sessions on national unity and cooperation, and also joined in communal environmental clean-up efforts.
A local community leader expressed his appreciation for the initiative:
"We feel seen, heard, and supported. The TNI’s presence brings peace of mind and motivation for us to keep moving forward. May this partnership continue to grow, " he remarked sincerely.
This initiative is part of a routine civil-military communication strategy carried out by Task Force Yonif 400/Banteng Raiders. By prioritizing empathy, inclusion, and mutual respect, the unit is helping to create a secure, peaceful, and united atmosphere in Papua, reaffirming the TNI's deep commitment to national integration and community welfare.
